I, Athena the goddess of wisdom and war, helped Odysseus. I helped Odysseus on his journey from Troy to Ithaca. I helped him in war and wisdom. I guided him to make the right choices. Most of all I helped him when he returned back to Ithaca. I don`t think his decisions were the best but, I think in the end it worked out for the better. It takes a lot of courage and strength to do what he did. He didn`t want to come back home looking like himself because all the suitors would kill him and his son. I helped to disguise him. I turned him into a beggar with all the bad smells and everything. I helped him because if he went into his house looking like Odysseus the suitors would kill him. There were too many of them that he couldn`t fight by himself with everyone knowing it was him. I also did it so that he could have trust with his son. He needs help defeating all the suitors and I know that his son can and will help him. Another reason I helped him is because his wife has stayed loyal this whole time. She has not gone with one of the other suitors nor did she stop believing that Odysseus was not coming home. She deserves him to come home and be with her. I treated this situation, as I would want it to be treated. I guided him in making the right decision. His family loves him very much. They wanted him home as soon as possible and they need that for waiting so long. I feel that everything I did was for the best. Whether it was helping Odysseus, guiding him, or giving him strength in war. He finally gets to be with his family without anyone in the way. I am so glad a got to be apart of making that better. I believe the kingdom will be a better place now. Everything I do is for a reason. I know everything is for the best.
